In recognition of the 4th of July I visited a small historic area called “Craney Island” for a cache location. Which is located next to the Point Pleasant neighborhood. While I was walking around I noticed a cordoned off head stone leaning against a tree for Elizabeth Ives. So I decided to make this a straightforward two-stage cache.
CONTAINS LOG ONLY OR SMALL ITEMS! BYOP
The waypoints above take you to Elizabeth. Her head stone is really worn and hard to read. So if you shine a bright flashlight on the letters from the side it will cause a shadow, which will make the letters and words easier to read.
To obtain the final coordinates for the cache see below.
Once you arrive at the cache location take the time to read about the significance of this area in our history during the Civil War on the nearby historic plaque.
**The cache can be obtained without stepping on or in the landscaping.
Cache can hold small items for trade.

Congratulations to ALARA for FTF!!
