Great camping area in this remote part of Maryland. Great fly fishing nearby about 2 miles down the road along the North Branch river.
The cache is located in the woods along a dirt road called Wallman Rd. in the Potomac-Garrett State Forest. There are several very primitive camp sites along this dirt road. Best way is to drive along dirt road until your GPS indicates the closest proximity to cache and then park near that campsite and hike into the woods. Near some fallen logs, fairly well hidden. 4X4 required in the winter to get into this part of the Potomac-Garrett State Forest. If you are lucky, you might encounter a bear, which frequent this part of the state forest.
