Geocache Description:

Dit is een wandeling of fietstocht van ongeveer 4 km door Moordrecht. Bovenstaande coördinaten geven aan waar geparkeerd kan worden.

Hieronder zijn 13 foto's weergegeven. Ter plaatse van de waypoints moet steeds bepaald worden welk van deze foto’s daar genomen is. Oog voor detail kan hierbij van pas komen. Als de juiste foto gevonden wordt, kan het volgende waypoint berekend worden door de getallen die bij de foto staan van het huidige noord- en oostcoördinaat op te tellen dan wel er vanaf te trekken.

Vanaf de parkeerplaats (coördinaten bovenaan de cachepagina) gaat de route eerste naar waypoint 1. Als voorbeeld zullen we de coördinaten hiervan op dezelfde wijze uitrekenen.
Om van de parkeerplaats naar wp1 te komen geldt: N +81 en E +197. Als we deze getallen optellen bij de coördinaten van de parkeerplaats (zie boven) dan worden de coördinaten van wp1: N 51°59.150' - E004°39.692'.
Als de juiste foto hier wordt gevonden kan wp2 berekend worden, door de getallen op de foto bij de coördinaten van wp1 op te tellen dan wel af te trekken. Bij wp2 moet dan opnieuw de juiste foto gezocht worden. Door de getallen op deze foto bij de coördinaten van wp2 op te tellen dan wel af te trekken wordt wp3 berekend. Dit gaat steeds op deze manier zo door.
Als een foto gebruikt is kun je het afvinkhokje aankruisen, want foto’s worden maar 1 keer gebruikt. Er zijn in totaal 10 waypoints en daarna kom je bij de cache. Met de foto van waypoint 10 bereken je dus de coördinaten van de cache.
Om het wat moeilijker te maken zijn er 13 foto’s gegeven, zodat er aan het eind 3 foto’s overblijven.
De foto’s zijn samengevoegd tot 1 afbeelding. Uitprinten op A4 is voldoende om de foto’s te herkennen.

De route gaat over verharde wegen, alleen bij de cache moet je een paar stappen van de weg af.
De cache is een PVC-koker met een logboek en een pen. Er is nog ruimte voor enkele Geocoins of niet al te grote Travelbugs.
Het is niet nodig om te graven. Plaats de cache na het loggen weer zorgvuldig terug op dezelfde manier als je hem gevonden hebt. Laat de cache niet vallen!

De cache is geplaatst met toestemming van de gemeente Moordrecht.

This is a walk or bicycle tour of approximately 4 km in Moordrecht. The coordinates that are displayed above give the location where you can park your car.

Below, 13 photos can be seen. At the location of the waypoints, each time it must be established which of these photos are taken on that location. An eye for detail can be handy. If the correct photo is found, the next waypoint can be calculated by adding or subtracting the numbers that are displayed on the photo by the current coordinates.
The route starts from the parking-place. As an example, the coordinates of waypoint 1 are calculated in the same way. For wp1 the numbers are: N +81 and E +197. If these numbers are added to the coordinates of the parking-place, the coordinates of wp1 are calculated as N 51°59.150' - E004°39.692'.
If you find the correct photo at wp1, the location of wp2 can be calculated by adding or subtracting the numbers on the photo by the coordinates of wp1. At wp2 the correct photo must be found again. By adding or subtracting the numbers on the photo by the coordinates of wp2, wp3 is calculated. This is repeated again and again.
A photo can only be used once. In total there are 10 waypoints and a cache. With the numbers on the photo that is found at waypoint 10 the location of the cache is calculated.
To make it somewhat more difficult, 13 photos are given. In that way 3 photos will remain unused.

The cache is a small container that contains a logbook and a pen. There is some space left for Geocoins or small Travelbugs.
There is no need for digging to find the cache. Place it carefully back in the same way as you found it. Don't drop it!
