Sno-Wake & Dingo's Excellent Cachin' Adventure II Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Blue Blaze Irregulars: Fantastic! I make the cache easier to find and some nice person makes off with it. Thanks for playin' our game, folks...

This cache has required many visits and a good deal of maintenance, but I loved it due to the great view and vigorous hike. But it's not worth the effort when I worry that somebody, possibly even a so-called Geocacher, spoils that hard work. I hope that person reads this and SHAME on you!

Geocache Description:

A Great Walk in the Open Space. Now a Traditional Cache!

This is a Book Cache! Please bring a paperback book to trade/donate.

I had just placed my Lime Ridge II cache and was waiting anxiously for that FTF report. Sure enough, there it was. And the FTF'er was none other than SnoWake with his faithful companion, Dingo. I started reading the log, and it turned out to be one of the most entertaining ones I've seen! It also made me think: "Hey, ain't no caches in that area." Problem solved. Park across the street from the entrance on Treat Blvd. You can be as adventurous as SnoWake was or cross legally. Great views and lots of wildlife! Container is traditional-large. Difficulty rating varies seasonally. Will be muddy in rainy season! The brush growth changes seasonally as well, with lovely low grass in winter and spring, but high, dry stuff in summer along with star thistle. Dress accordingly. Please replace ammo box as found.
