The grounds and the derelict Elmdon Hall were bought by the Council in 1944 to create this country style Park. The Park is unique amongst the Borough's Parks, in that it has a hilly landscape giving fine views across the Midlands. There is a perimeter walk, which embraces the lakes and stream that meander through the Park. Alternatively, The Friends of Elmdon have created a popular heritage trail which gives details of the remains of the walled garden now a Local Nature Reserve which is managed by the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust as well as other interesting facts on St Nicolas' Church, Elmdon Hall and associated buildings.
Hatchford brook winds its way through Elmdon Park into Sheldon Country Park.
