Geocache Description:


The ecos millennium environmental centre opened in 2000 and was initially a visitor centre, demonstrating sustainable ideas to the general public. It had two interactive galleries, one on sustainability and one on biodiversity. it has now been revamped as a meeting and innovation centre. There is a good cafe The centre is set in 150 acres of maturing woodland, peaceful lake and grazed meadows. The Ulster Wildlife Trust manage the park which boasts lots of diverse wildlife including numerous butterflies often rarely seen Opening hours; Actual centre and car park – Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm Saturday and Sunday 12noon to 5.00pm. It is however possible to park near the entrance to the park but outside the barriers at any time, day or night. The cache is a small plastic container covered with camouflage tape It is placed in the grounds surrounding the centre and is not close to water. Please hide carefully after your find .
