as of September 11, 2010 to make room for new caches at the Trails
Open Henderson Event on September 12th.
The cache is located near a plantation where the surrounding grass
is still mowed. It is a short walk (approximately 10 metres)from
the laneway. The kids have been very excited about setting our
first cache placement. Conservation Authority Personel remind us
that there is a small entry fee into the Conservation Area. When
the attendant isn't present,there is a self service drop box by the
gate house. Also make note of the park hours as the entrance gates
are locked each night. Please remember that off trail hiking is
discouraged as it negatively impacts the environment. The area is
well populated with animals, so please leave no food and re-hide
the cache before leaving. The cache is a peanut butter container
with a log book, pencils and a few trinkets.
