Geocache Description:

This cache will make you hike a good mile and a half after you're all done. Make the difficulty higher in the summer due to swarming mosquitoes and standing water.

At least the cache is an ammo can. Located off a fire break road, near the southern end of a jeep/fire-break road. There are hog traps placed nearby often. The photo shows one that was located across the road from the cache until only recently. This park in recent years has been overrun by feral hogs and the rangers sent over 200 of them to "Hog Heaven". This cache is placed in their memory. They reproduce so rapidly that I doubt that they will ever be under control. As a matter of fact, Gatorgirl and I heard two large adults today when placing the ammo box. Good luck on your trek to this far corner of the park. I hope you can run fast if you forget your bug spray.
