The purpose of stage 1 is to introduce you to the location of
Honolulu's only urban
astronomy park, which holds free public star parties each month
(weather permitting) and
has been doing so for over 6 years. These events are held on the
Saturday night
closest to First Quarter Moon so that we can show the moon at its
most interesting, but also planets and other bright beauties of the
night. A schedule can be found at the
Hawaiian Astronomical Society's website.
Stage 2 is a regular size ammo can located a short distance up
Wiliwilinui Ridge trail.
FTF prize is a maple wood (spinning) top I just made at a woodshop
near Military HQ.
