hidden in Muggle central - dog walkers favourite place
This cache has been provided by SleepyRN a cacher from South Carolina who asked me to place it near the river Dee in a place I visit regularly. As this is where I regularly walk our Dog it seemed appropriate. It is a wildlife haven in the midst of the town. Cut off by the river the railway the road and the golf course it remains wild. A great place to see birds - the river is a flyway for waders, cormorants, gulls etc. you can see swans geese kingfishers and herons. It has areas for woodland and meadow birds. The flora is great there are loads of orchids out at the moment.All in all a nice place to be.
So why the name well sleepy is obvious and if you know me so is Grumpy. I have a load of coins I have offered to place for people and have spent the last week DNFing caches or finding micros (Grrr) whilst I managed to get one in a micro - shoe horn required I decided the best thing to do was put them in a new cache!!!!
Please be aware that the area off of the path here can be uneven as this was James Crichton & Co Ltd's shipyard from 1913 until 1935. The company built many kinds of vessel, including tugs, barges, ferries, lightships and launches.
