This is an easy spot to access, drivedown to the water at what used to be "The Hydrant" near the Stratton Elementary School. There once was a dry hydrant here for fire trucks to fill from. The only difficulty is to get around the round object obstructing your pathway to the cache. There is CASH in the Cache for the FTF and a FTF Certificate.
As a child I played here, fished here, watched the fire warden`s plane take off and land here, I even got to go up with them a few times. You could also watch the hydroplanes race on this lake from here on the 4th of July every year. Not a care in the world days...I'd love to be there again. We couldn't keep track of how many fish we would catch here everyday.....30 perhaps more(releasing them). Enjoy this beautiful spot. You can land your boats, canoes, Kayaks, etc. Bring a pole do some fishing, red devils always worked well(although there was asecret lure that worked better)I'm not tell'in
