Some cachers will remember this area from another cache that was once hidden out here. I’ve seen a lot of Sleeping Trees but not any Dog Land Mines.
Your journey takes you down an old section of road by Lake Acadia. Follow the black top till it ends. While the Johnson grass is 7ft tall this summer you may want to set a way point at the end of the black top. This will help navigating back after you’ve located the cache. Watch your step in the tall grass. There are a lot of sleeping trees to trip you up and who knows what kind of varmints might be around. In the spring, fall and winter the grass is real short and easy to get around.
You are looking for a 30mm ammo can. The way it is hidden is copied from a well known kacher in our area. After doing a couple of his caches I wanted to try this. If I need to add spoilers later I will.
This is a little fun for everyone who spent time out here looking for Who Nose.
There is a FTF gift in the ammo can, along with a couple of DVD’s, Rubber Duckies, Bouncing Balls and other swag items. After you find the cache please rehide the ammo can back like it was or better.
