This country road alongside the interstate was once a busy frontage road along US 25. Turn onto Durbin Lane from Old Richmond Road and stay straight to get to this one. This cache is placed alongside the road and should be a quick park and grab.
At least two truck stops sat here and there was just one farm house out back. When the Interstate was put in and US 25 realigned, the road became part of a this small residential neighborhood which includes 10 homes and the Durbin Memorial Baptist Church. The cache is a larger rubbermaid container wrapped in camo tape. The cache contains a log, some trade items and a pencil. You can stop your car right next to the cache or park at the church (except on Sundays and Wednesday nights) and walk to the cache. This cache is handicapped accessible. The road is not at all busy but PLEASE WATCH FOR CHILDREN PLAYING AND DOGS RUNNING and go VERY slowly. The children in this neighborhood are used to very little traffic so they may not be watching for you. On the other hand, one of the children may be keeping a very close eye on you. THE SPEED LIMIT IS 15mph!
As with any of my caches, you DO NOT have to trade anything in to take a TB or Geocoin. They are meant to travel so please move them along!
