American Patriotism Traditional Cache

A nice little park in the middle of Soldotna. Very easy, year-round access. Take the dog for a stroll in this memorial park and reflect on the names on the benches and ground plaques. I knew some of them. They were good people who did a lot for this little town. Enjoy the park while you're here.

There usually isn't much activity here and this cache is a very easy find. Please replace the cache exactly as found in the exact same spot. There is enough kid activity in this park that I've moved this cache and changed the hide style 4 times now as each of the previous ones are discovered and muggled. Hopefully this one is far enough out of the way.

The city has removed the large "American Patriotism" sign that used to be on the lawn facing the street. That was the namesake for the original cache. So the original "memorial" nature of this park has been diminished slightly without that sign built by local high school kids. In its place is the above pictured tribute to the Parkers who homesteaded in this area decades ago.

Due to prior problems with both muggles and geo-thieves, please don't leave any geocoins or travel bugs in this cache.
