Golf Ball Trader Traditional Cache
3Chercheurs: Just checked and the tree that held the cache would have stood smack in the middle of some waste water pipeline excavation. Gotta say, I liked the trees better. This will be a good spot for another cache when the workers move out. Thanks for all who visited, it's had a good run. 3C

This cache is set up if you either have or need extra golf balls. If you are like me and have a few lying around, drop them off. If you need a few practice balls to whack around, pick a few up.
The cache is set up along a lesser known trail in the Barrhaven area. You may be tempted to hike in from Prince of Wales Drive, but it may be a bit of a bushwack. Park at N 45 15.071 W075 42.481 and enjoy a walk along a nicely kept trail to within 15 meters of the cache. The last few meters will require a bit of buswacking.
Ever wonder where all those golf balls in caches come from. I once read a log about finding a used golf ball in a cache that had greatly upset the finder. Although I don’t golf, I somehow accumulate golf balls. I’ve found them in the woods, near caches that were miles from a golf course. I’ve found them in parking lots and just recently I’ve found a box in the basement that had three brand new golf balls in it. Just for curiosity’s sake, I went around the house and picked up all the golf balls I could find. I came up with one short of a dozen - the only one presently in use was by Charlee the family dog as it is the only toy he has failed to chew apart! (I let her keep that one.)
If the container goes empty, I will re-swag with regular traders. There are a few interesting corporate logo balls, some are used, most are new. There are even a few tees that I found laying around as well. There is still room in the container for more.
