The given coordinates (S 45° 29.004 E 169° 19.123) will take you to the first waypoint of this multi stage cache.
The track is well formed and very well posted with yellow tipped waratahs and/or yellow markings on the fence. These are placed so that you can always see at least two and mostly three, the one you are at, the one behind and the one ahead. .
This is child friendly but your four legged, canine, ones will need to be on a lead(leash)or left behind.
You will find that the well defined walking tracks will take you the all of the waypoints,there is no need to "bushwack". You will go to some spectacular viewpoints, both North towards the Roxburgh Hydro Dam and South down the valley towards Roxburgh.
The Waypoint containers are 50ml tablet bottles; were empty but now filled with the notes to keep you going towards the final (cache).
The cache container is a black 150mm square Sistema Lunch Box and when placed contained:
- A stash note.
- A small log book.
- A pencil & sharpener.
- A little bear (toy).
- Aussie penny, 1964.
