A View Point on the Mist Ridge Trail is a
regular sized LnL type container with a few different trading
items.
Trailhead parking is available at the Mist Creek day-use area
off Highway 40, 20.6 kilometres west of the Highwood Junction and
17.8 kilometres south of the Highwood Pass.
The ridgewalk along Mist Ridge is one of the most scenic in the
Canadian Rockies. Mist and Storm Mountains dominate the views to
the west and Gibralter Mountain and others to the east. I would
recommend taking the junction to the right approximately 2
kilometres from the trailhead as it leads directly to the ridge.
The round trip distance we captured in our track log was 24.7
kilometres for the hike.
We have also added a second cache on this fine ridgewalk at
Rickert's Pass, which can be found at the north end of the
ridge.
