This cache is located in the bog under the approach path to runway 31 at Gander International Airport.
As you leave the road you’re probably thinking “I know where they have this one hidden.” But do you? Depending on the time of year you may have to wear hikers to avoid getting your feet wet as the bog is wet most of the time. If your timing is right you may have a plane landing or taking off low over your head. You may be lucky enough to see a fighter plane or one of the large Antonov’s that frequently land in Gander.
The cache is a camoed waterproof match container containing a log sheet and pencil. Please take note of the “no parking” signs along the road and park accordingly.
