Geocache Description:

This cache is located off the Old Hickory Lake Nature Trail, near Old Hickory Lock and Dam. You CAN NOT reach this cache from the Hendersonville side of the water. You MUST approach from the Old Hickory side. Do your homework and research this area and check your map before you waste a lot of time traveling around Hendersonville, looking for a way across the water. Although some of this area is wheelchair accessible, this geocache is not.

You are looking for a green ammo box. The coordinates were taken with approximately 25 feet of accuracy, it just wasn't getting any closer that day. If you find this cache and can get better coords, please post them and I will gladly edit the coords on the cache page. The cache is hidden beside a fallen tree that has lots of brush and vines growing around it. When facing in the direction of the river, there is a very tall and straight Sycamore tree to the left (10:00) about 40 to 50 feet from the cache.
