Geocache Description:

You will require a 4x4, quads, dirt bike etc to get in here. Outhouses, Picnic Tables & lot's of camping areas. Our terrain - normally we'd say a 4 - however since Conair @ Stoyoma is accessed from this and it's a 4 we had to go one lower.

This Ammo Can is very Special - it came from Geo Woodstock VI and was painted by the kids there. While we were there we were lucky enough to get two. We thought based on the history here, that it was only fitting. For the terrain rating. We figure that is a 4 and you need a 2 hour hike one way to get there - this has to be at least a .5 lower.

The History is amazing - we went up to see if we could be one of the few that was proud to say they had seen Conair @ Stoyoma - however nature won over and we had to delay it. We're now planning an event in the Area - so you have a choice. Go grab it between now and then or wait for the event? How bad do you want that FTF? Or will you share the FTF with the group?

Cabin Lake - many ways to get there depending on which way you're coming from - all of them have one thing in common - beautiful area's and way to few caches in this area. If you do come up - please place a cache somewhere on the trail.

The coordinates should be pretty close, I did a go to on them and it got me within 3 meters again. The cache is not "right beside the cabin" but a little bit aways to make sure it is safe.

You will require some navigation to find the roads in - if you'd like some help ahead of time please let us know!

Once you've been there - we ask that you please post your thoughts on what it would have been like to live here and why would someone have ended up here?

We did some research on the plane crash referred to in Conair @ Stoyoma, and were amazed at the history behind it. I tried to link it here but having a few issues doing that. Putting the link in the first post. We hope you enjoy the trip! We can send you a picture of cache hiding spot if you would like, and please ensure to cover it up as well as you found it.
