Essexville Remembers Traditional Cache

While Geocaching.com would like to continue to hold the location for you, doing so blocks other cachers from placing caches in the area. We feel that this cache has been disabled for a period of time exceeding what is reasonable for the area, and thus I regretfully must archive it.

If you are able to get out and replace the cache, simply drop me a note and let me know the GC waypoint number of the cache or better yet, the URL of the cache page. I will be more than happy to take a look at it to see if it is still is within the guidelines of the Geocaching.com website for cache placement and posting.

Geocache Description:

Micro cache located in Veteran's Memorial Park in Essexville. This is a well kept little memorial park on a traffic island along Woodside Avenue. The cache container is a small prescription bottle. It contains a small log sheet and pencil. No room for trading items.

This triangular park has several benches to sit on as you contemplate the sacrifice made by our armed forces in order to procure and maintain our freedom. There are a couple nice monuments. Take the time to read the inscriptions. There is even a drinking fountain to quench your thirst on hot summer days.

Please take care to use stealth as you search. Please take care not to trample the flowers.
