"A Bit of History" Summer's father owned the town center gas station that occupied this corner back in the 1960s, called Klug's Standard station. Summer has her name on one of the bricks on the wall here along with the names of some of her other family members. It's very appropriate that this cache is near the American Legion since Summer's grandfather was in the army during WWI and her father was a marine during WWII.
**NOTE** We realize this distance is far from our home coords. To address this issue we have family very near the cache who have agreed to tend to the cache if and when issues arise. Also, we will personally be visiting this area occasionally, to visit friends and family, as it's the hometown of Summer (1978 Menomonee Falls North graduate)...thus the title.
