This is a series of 6 caches set on a route of 7 miles starting from Grayrigg Village and incorporating the Dales Way. The route is mainly on footpaths through fields so it can be muddy and you will probably encounter livestock. The walk can be done in either direction; we have described it as an anti-clock wise route. There are many footpaths in the area so you may pick a different route than we did, which ever way you go we hope you enjoy it.
This cache was set as we had one box left and it didn’t seem quite right to take it back home.
It is lovely by this stream and there are lots of birds around here.
To head back to Grayrigg continue on this footpath keeping the stream on your left. You will come to Sunny Hollow Farm (no longer a farm). Once passed the storage containers turn right through a gate (this gate actually has a yellow arrow on it!) passing the farm house and you will come to Blackett Bottom again.
