Geocache Description:

A short but steep walk up the Cronk, near Port St Mary.

From on top of the Cronk you'll get great views of Port Erin, and through to the sea at Fleshwick Bay.

Park near-by the co-ordinates for the start of the walk and then ascend the public footpath (diff 2.5 for this steep hill), over the stile and continue up, following the obvious path, until you reach a wall, climb the stile to put you very close to the cache.

On the walk up the hill be prepared for brambles and gorse, as well as flies and midges. As a reward for enduring these nuisances, you'll get to see all kinds of flora and fauna, and there are fantastic views from the top.

Instead of doubling back, there are numerous ways down from the cache along well trodden paths to the near by roads, and onwards to plenty of other caches in the area.
