This cache is located at a popular scenic pullout along Hwy 550. It should be an easy park and grab. The views of Red Mountain and the mining sites nearby are worth stopping to see. The history of the area is presented on several plaques at the parking area. This can be a high muggle area at times, so it may require stealth.
The container is a camo covered altoid tin hidden in a high traffic part of the pullout. Original contents were a gold dollar president coin, a light up hat pin, and a log book. Bring your own pencil. There is room for small items or a coin.
