Geocache Description:

A nice short walk starting in an area known as Toad Hole Beck, and with this in mind we have named the caches after Mr Toad and his friends in Wind in the Willows.

This is a circular route and can be managed quite easily with small children, although it is unfortunately not pushchair friendly, and care must be taken both by the water, and then by the busy road returning to the parking place.

This is an area remembered by JazzMum from her childhood, while JazzDad is more familiar with the nearby golf course. It has recently benefitted from Lottery funding, so we all had great fun exploring and rediscovering the area. This obviously makes it a popular area, particularly with dog walkers, so stealth may be needed to avoid the muggles.

Recommended Parking is at the end of Albert Terrace, then taking the right hand path to this cache.

From here continue to Railway Ratty and Badgers Meadow, before emerging through the Urban Meadow. From here Cleckheaton Road is visible and you need to head left towards the parking spot, stopping if time allows in Victoria Park (known as Oakenshaw Park when we were growing up) to find Mr Toads Tree.

You are looking for a clip-top container which has plenty of room for swaps.

Hope you have as much fun searching for this cache as we had placing it.
