Geocache Description:

I was making a caching trip from Midland to El Paso along this route and noticed there weren't many caches to stop for. I was looking for a reason to place another one out here (like I need a good reason) and I saw this small stone structure. It grabbed my interest. When I stopped and looked at it, I saw a small cross in front of it with "Sanders" on it. I know nothing of the history of either or if they are related (the cross and the building), but I'm giving you reason to stop too.

11/26/2010 update: I haven't been out to this cache in a while. When I placed it, there were only a few scraggly plants, and a small container was required. I don't know if it has grown over since then, but people are reporting that it is difficult to find. I hate "micro-in-a-forest" caches, and did not mean to put one here. If that's what it has become, my apologies. I don't know when I will be out to check on it.

As always in west Texas, be careful of snakes, scorpions, mountain lions, bees, or other biting, stinging, and/or blood-sucking critters.

For the Texas county chasers, I show this to be in Hudspeth County.
