Geocache Description:

Five Bridges Wilderness Area Series Cache #3 brought to you by the team of EastCoastNotWestCoast and nswiggy. This cache is located right next to very nice Ash Lake. Ask Lake is just outside the Wooden River Watershed as it waters flows out to St. Margaret's Bay in Upper Tantallon.

The Five Bridges Wilderness Area is a natural habitat consisting watersheds and wildlife on public lands in the area bounded by Highways 103 and 333 on the Chebucto Peninsula.

When we arrived at Ash Lake to place the cache there was a pack of dogs barking just beyond the other side of the lake. Hence the name of the cache.

This series is located in some very difficult terrain and the best way to access the caches are via ATV or hiking. Off road vehicles are not advised and you will spend a lot of time walking your mountain bike due to the rocks!

Coordinates recorded with Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx.

Congratulations to BPCachers on the FTF!
