Rocky Start Traditional Cache
NDOkie: This one had a good run but what was once a good hide off trail was now 20' off trail due to rerouting of the hiking trails. It was a good place to scramble around and now would likely get muggled sooner or later due to trail proximity. Hate to see my first and one of the best go away.

This regular cache is an ammo box hidden in Osage Hills State Park. Depending on how you approach, the terrain could be moderate to rough near the cache.
This cache reflects the type of short adventure caches that I have come to appreciate. The terrain in this part of Osage Hills Park is very rocky so good, solid hiking boots are recommended. The shortest hike to this cache is roughly 0.3 mile from parking/trail head. The hike can be made much longer if you go after the other caches in the vicinity or hike in from the campground areas.
This cache was placed under activity permit on file at the park ranger's office.
