Geocache Description:

Go to the coordinates above and gather the information you need to find the final stage and the log. There is a pullout at these coordinates. Slow down as you approach "right hand canyon road" or you will have to turn around. Let the idiots speeding up and down U-14 just slow down.

This marker has gone unnoticed by me and probably others. It would not have been a multi but there is another cache within 200 feet so in order to bring you to this historical marker I needed to make it a two-stage multi. Peter Shirts "claimed the reward" in this year. Take the date that is noted and use the last three digits for the last three digits of the west coordinates of the final stage. The last three digits of the north coordinates will be the same three numbers but the last two will be transposed. Example: If the year is 1492 the west would end in .492 and the north would end in .429.
