Geocache Description:

At Rock Creek Reservoir. Access to this one is steep, so bring your hiking shoes. Not far from the road though.

This cache is located very near to the camp site that is used yearly for an event we call "Man Camp". This may sound funny, but it is just a fun trip where all the guys get to go out without their women and have a little bonding time with the kids and do manly stuff, like shoot guns, drink beer, catch fish, and eat lots of steak.

The cache has been placed so that you don't absolutely need to go to the camp site to locate it. You can park on the side of the road and climb down to get it. There is a little turn off spot by the guardrail that can be used. On weekends, this may be the preferred method since the campsite may be occupied.

No matter which direction you come from, you will have a fairly steep descent to navigate, so be careful. If you come from the campsite, there is some spotty remnants of a trail, but if you come from the road, there isn't much of a trail. There really isn't any major brush to contend with though.

The cache is an ammo can. I started it out with a few little trinkets and a log book of course. I didn't have a pen to leave in the cache, so please bring your own, and if you are willing, please leave one.
