Cats Are Cute Series – Mickey Mouse ---
This series is dedicated to all the cute cats we’ve had and have
now. We’ve placed a cache for each cat we’ve enjoyed over the
years. Cats are wonderful animals and we want you to get to know
ours. We hope you enjoy their caches.
Mickey Mouse – yes I know an interesting name for a cat, but you’d
have to see him to understand. Mickey is our newest cat. We
inherited him from Jan’s Mom, who passed away in May. Jan’s Mom
named him Mickey Mouse because when you put your hand on his back,
the spots he has look just like the mouse ears of Mickey Mouse. We
call him Mickey or Mr. Mouse. Mickey has lived indoors for several
years and so is not used to being outside. He’s enjoying his time
here and gets along really well with our other two cats, Gizmo and
Dudley. (of course he would get along with Dudley – see CAC-
Dudley) Dudley is giving Mickey obedience lessons and he’s doing
very well. Mickey is a big cat (about twice the size of the other
two) and he’s liking being out side. We’re getting to know him
better and liking him a lot.
Mickey’s cache is toward the end of a great road in the hill
country. From this spot there is a great view of a beautiful ranch
in the area. If you continue just down the hill from his cache,
you’ll find a great spot to turn around and head back out to the
main road.
