Near Interstate, short hike up a hill. Geocache was replaced with a new container 6/6/2024!
If you need a break from driving, then stop for a "quick one"! Cache that is..... Container is a plastic container, that can hold small trading items and travel bugs. Just a short hike up the hill, but be careful. Enjoy the view from the cache.
The Sleeping Giant is clearly noticeable from here and can be recognized by the 600 foot chunk of rock called Beartooth Mountain which makes up the Giant’s nose. It can be seen for miles around. Lewis and Clark stayed at the base of Sleeping Giant in 1805 during their journey to the Northwest.
You might also enjoy visiting the Gates of the Mountains Cruise during the summer months which is just East of here.
