For the past number of years, geocachers have celebrated the repeated dates likes 10-10-10 with events. The last year this worked was 2012 with December 12th events, but in 2013 cachers still celebrated in 11-12-13. This year, cachers will again gather in December on the 13th for 12-13-14. Even though the order of digits doesn't work for how we write dates in Canada, I decided to take part and host an event, and combine it with the next Geo¢a$h geocoin event.
Come hang out with other cachers, bring along your geocoins to show off, and some trackable coins will be available if you want to start/add to your own collection. There will also be a special trackable wooden nickel with the event design available, as well as a Nova Scotia version of the 12-13-14 group coin. We will meet in the community room of the new Bridgewater Margaret Hennigar Public Library. If you haven't been to Bridgewater in a while, please note the library is no longer down by the bridge! It is located at 135 North Park Street in the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre (Bridgewater Industrial Park). Hope to see you there!
