UPDATE!!! Those attendees who register on Friday night (4-7p.m.)
will be entered into an additional drawing for a $50 Bass Pro Gift
Card. Plan to come tomorrow night! Also read below for an updated
schedule. Here's just a few of the awesome prizes we conjured (it's
almost Halloween) up for the event. * 2 primo ammo boxes. These are
really cool and have a second box on top that could also be used as
a cache. * 1 ergonomic walking stick * 1 book on using your GPS
just in case you want to do something other than geocaching...OK,
not likely but you never know and it's a cool book. * 1 bag o' swag
(don't ya just love that. Yep, I thought of it all on my own.) * 1

be sure to plan on coming. The event this year will have Abraham
Lincoln as its theme since it is the 200th anniversary of his
birth. Group activities will take place at the Western Historic
Trails Center, 3434 Richard Downing AV, Council Bluffs and at
Dittmar's Orchard. Early registration will begin at 4:00 p.m.
Friday night, October 17th and end at 7:00 p.m. there'll be cookies
and coffee. Saturday registration will begin at 9:30 a.m. and go
till noon. We'll end the event with a weiner roast at Dittmar's
Orchard from 4-7 p.m. Saturday and have our drawing for prizes at
5:00 p.m. Be sure to be at the orchard and have your prize
registration for deposited by 4:30 Saturday. There'll be another
little surprise that night as well. But, we'll save that for then.
;) We're always looking for prizes for drawings so if you have
anything you'd like to donate let Spothors know. Thanks to all the
cachers who donated prizes last year! Stay tuned for updates and
more specifics. And, please thank the CBV folks for all their help
