This little open space city park in Pacific Grove was named in honor of Andy Jacobsen (1890-1955). Andy moved to the area in 1921 from SF and established a thriving plastering and general construction business during the housing boom. During the Great Depression he turned to other ventures including public service. It was his tenure as a County Supervisor (1932-1955) that earned him the great respect for which he was honored by this park.
Enjoy the view of the bay from this little neighborhood park. Its a little out of the way of the many mugglers on the recreation trail, but still use stealth and replace the cache exactly as found. Sign only, no trade items.
As Andy Jacobson said "When you are right, you are bound to come out on top." In this case, perhaps not quite on top.
