Originally placed 7/16/2008, cache and log replaced 5/10/2025. Area has changed a lot in the 17 years since it was placed - the tiny oak tree it used to hide under is now fully grown. Location has been moved slightly, should be just a short bushwhack to the base of a fairly obvious tree. On a nice path for biking or walking. Easiest access from the trail at the end of Lake Drive. The other end of the trail is at Etra Lake Park, so you can get a little more exercise by starting there.
Once you find your target you'll be in a place quite surprisingly rich in reptile and amphibian life. All spring and summer this place has been jumping with life. Jeremiah is a nod to all the friendly bullfrogs in the area. You will also most likely hear green frogs, which sound like a loose banjo string or rubber band being plucked. We've also seen snakes on a few occasions or you may stumble upon one of the snapping turtles we helped relocate. All in all a nice little hidden herp haven.
Some of the original cache contents include Sedona the Rubber Snake (found in a cache in Sedona, Arizona), and Freddy the Frog travel bug.
Please return the box to the spot where you found it, and be sure it can't be seen from the path.
The original location for this cache was a little farther up the path, so make sure to check it out for the full experience of the frog serenade.
