In poetry, a stanza is a unit within a larger poem. (The term means "stopping place" in Italian.) In traditional English-language poems, stanzas can be identified and grouped together because they share a rhyme scheme or a fixed number of lines.
This geocache is hidden at the entrance to the third cirque you will encounter while hiking this loop, and provides a good overview of the meadow and a view of Highwood Ridge. It contains the third stanza of the poem “Arethusa Adventure” AND the coordinates for Arethusa Adventure – FINAL.
There is no room for a pencil, so be sure to bring your own. The new container as of 2022 (camouflaged PETling) is hanging about 4 feet off the ground on a tree branch on uphill side facing east.
