A mini event at McDonalds on Nolana in McAllen.
Kind of like a “Flash Mob” event, only shorter. We will meet rain (haha) or shine.
Here's the Plan
At exactly 7:53am (GPS local Time)which is in the morning of 8 August 2008., we will appear at ground zero. At this point, all geocachers will converge, seeming to come out of nowhere, the best we can. We will hand out log sheets for participants to sign, then drop in a designated collection box. Bring a pen.
7:42 - 7:52AM Wait patiently nearby, trying not to look conspicuous or stroll around the area.
7:53 we will appear with log sheets - the event has begun!
8:00 Welcome
8:05 Gather for a group photo.
8:08 Wait for it ... BAM!
LEAVE the area and meet elsewhere if desired. Only those participants whose names appear on the log sheets may log the event.
Note: Although participants are welcome to get together after the event, the event will officially be over at 8:08.
Tell your friends and help promote the event! The more people who attend, the more unusual it will look, especially to muggles! I'm sure there will be several muggles nearby who will wonder "What did I just see? What just happened?" (That's part of the fun!)
You must be present and sign the log sheet DURING this time to claim this event. After 8 minutes it's over!
Don't be late, because when the clock hits 8:08am, the logbook disappears.
Feel free to bring any TB's or coins to share.
