This is the site of the original Coonalpyn school which was
built in 1889. This was actually 20 years before the township of
Coonalpyn was proclaimed. In 1928 the school was moved to its
current site on Coombe Terrace.
The cache is located near the monument in a small camo'd
container. It contains log book, pen and some small items for
swaps. Please replace cache as found.
