Geocache Description:

Grenda Finnstad er en liten plass, lengst nord i Rendalen kommune.
I dag er det ikke mange fastboende igjen i denne grenda helt i sørenden av Finnstadsjøen.
Tidligere levde folk av jord og skogbruk. Om våren var det også fløting av tømmer i Unsetåa.
Kjerkevegen ned til Øvre Rendalen kirke kunne bli lang, så det var greit å ha egen gravplass og bårehus i bygda.

The small village Finnstad is in the north of the municipal Rendalen.
Because it is a long way to the church at Øvre Rendalen, it is a burial place here.
