The old burial ground and pictish stone. The cache IS NOT in the burial ground itself.Terrain is good with parking very close bye. A small click lock box with logsheets and pencil.
Mapping the past, as you look around the Poolewe burial ground, you will discover many clues that hint at the fascinating past of a local community and the broader history of a nation.
Each stone tells a story. Some may never reveal their secrets but those that do tell us a great deal about famous families, the lives of ordinary people and chance happening that changed the course of history.
