We have placed this cache during our holidays in ZATON (Croatia) on a mountain bike trip.
The cache is located on a small island Zecevo, approx. 13 km north of NIN and 15 km north of ZATON, and is hidden in the garden of the church "Gospa od Zeceva" under a fig tree between some stones. Friars have created this small church for the honour of the Madonna of ZeCevo. In 1500 the Turks have destroyed the church and have thrown the Madonna figure in the sea. However, the Madonna figure floated to NIN where the figure could be rescued. The Madonna figure is kept until today in NIN and is brought to the island every year on May 5th.
The island can be reached by feet during low water (and with the mountain bike on your shoulders).
Please note, that the island is uninhabited, so don't forget to brink your own drinks and foot. In addition, don't forget your swimming clothes, because the water is crystal clear and it is really enjoyable after the walk on the island on a hot day .....
