* my 1st cache* (is now a teenager! 😮😆)
Sandy Bay can be a "Wave magnet" and is a popular surf beach on the Tutukaka Coast. As long as the tide is not full, it is a short easy walk down the beach. It might require some rock-hopping & good timing at high-tide. At weekends and during summer, I imagine avoiding muggles will be the biggest challenge.
Adding a pic or report of the days surf would be an appreciated bonus! :)
Trees swings are quite fun, but when you tire of playing on the tyre, why not perch in this perfect pohutukawa and watch the waves whilst pondering where the cache might be
... P.S. if you like swings, take a walk & check out the one at the extreme opposite end of the bay. It's a goody, woohoo!
Hmmm, I know the swings survived the last cyclone, struggling to recollect now when the swings went missing... and only now remembered to updat page, sorry!
Original placement: 1.5 litre Sistema slightly camo-ed (in a Vogel bread bag, LOL) chocked full of Beachie/Surfie items ; *a First to Find Certificate *Duke Kahanamoku Keychain *paua ring *mini lei *surfwax *sunscreen *dolphin *stickers... & more!
