Jacob's Cache Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

OReviewer: As there's been no cache to find for a long time, I'm archiving it to keep it from showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements.

Please note that if geocaches are archived by a reviewer or Geocaching HQ for lack of maintenance, they are not eligible for unarchival.

Geocache Description:

This should be a fairly easy cache. That's if you read your manual on how to project a waypoint. It is in Acorn Park in Northumberland. There are 2 baseball fields and a public boat launch. The posted coords will take you to the boat launch, on the right side facing the river at a 45 degree concrete walk. Be prepared for a beautiful view. From here you will need to project a waypoint of 247 degrees at a distance of 112 feet. This is where the cache is placed. If you don't know how to project a waypoint, you can use a compass. If you don't know how to use a compass, you can guess and walk 112 feet to where the cache is. It is not near the river. It's on level ground.
This cache is across the river from Fantasy Island Campground. This was placed in an area where I might see you from the campground if I'm there. We're out on the boat a lot, but if I see you, I'll wave. I'm in the second row near the bridge. The container is small, and can hold small items only, coins, etc. Best if you bring something to write with. FTF gets 2 bucks...

As of 8-3-2008, they put a boat dock at the boat launch, which means it accessable from the water, at least while the dam is inflated...
