This geocache is a replacement for the cache that either floated
away or was muggled. It is hidden in a different spot but not far
from the original one..there is some Poison Ivy in the area but not
hard to avoid it if you are careful but watch the kids and pets..if
it's a problem. The cache is not hidden in any of it.
The container is a cammo-painted Ammobox. In it are logbook,
pen, pencil, and trading items.
..and now for the reason behind the
name Crooked "W"..
The gentleman who owned the property
where the silo is, was on a scaffold painting the letters, had just
finished the O and unfortunately fell off the scaffold to his
death. His heirs finished painted the W at an angle to signify
where he had been when he fell.
UPDATE 5/09..unfortunately the silo was blown over recently and the
new one has no writing on it..
