The following cache is located near Shawnee State Park in Shellsburg, Pennsylvania.
Shawnee is named for American Indians who lived for a short time in the vicinity of the park during their westward migration from the Potomac in the early 1700s.
Proceed to the Primitive Camping Area off of route 96 just outside of Shellsburg. The road is gated and you will be required to walk the distance to the treasure. Please do not block the gate and either park off to the side or across the road at the large parking area. Follow your GPS six tenths of a mile to the stash. Along the way you will enter the actual primitive camping area. I encourage you to check out the environmentally friendy restrooms. Read the signs - pretty neat!
