Geocache Description:

A large Foreign Coin Exchange micro. This aptly named cache is located in what's known officially as Nance Park in Indialantic - 5th Avenue or Boardwalk to locals. A literal walk in the park.

Boardwalk has a lot going for it: it's a good surf spot - particularly shorepound, food - Bizarro's for calzones and pizza, a nice playground, bathrooms and showers, volleyball courts and so on. Excellent art shows are held here. This would be a nice day-at-the-beach cache. Just don't forget to feed the meter.

The cache is a large vitamin bottle, painted camo color, with a clip to hold it in place, and is hidden completely out of sight. Other than that, it's a piece of cake. It is not on the ocean side of the boardwalk; do not disturb the dunes here or anywhere, as they are fragile and protect wildlife and property. The cache started with about two dozen coins from about eight countries, several state quarters, some Andretti thrill park tokens and a very small log book. It was refreshed in March 2004 with ten foreign coins. Trade one foreign coin for another, or don't trade please. I no longer have access to a steady supply. If anyone wants to contribute extra foreign coins, that would be great!

I don't think it's that hard to find. Stealth is key, however, as the cache, though well hidden, is in a pretty public place. Please try to avoid detection when removing and replacing the cache. You'll be having fun, out of the sun, when you find this one!

10/18/04 - Changed the size from micro to small.
5/26/05 - replaced lost cache with the same type of container, very close to original location
