On Pikes Peak, near an old mining tunnel
This was a joint effort between The 5 C's and Team Corson. We'd be planing this for while and got a super day to make the trip.
Great destination for a moderate hike. If you park at Elk Park Overlook (just before mile marker 14) the hike isn't that bad. Beware they are working on the trail from that point and you might have to take a small detour. You can also come up from Barr trail as well, however our terrain rating does not reflect that route.
Some other great caches in the area. This might be a summer cache not for the fact that it will be hard to find with snow on the ground, but harder to get to.
