Geocache Description:

Stop in at the lower trailhead to the Tonsina Point Trail, and search for this tiny container.

There is no room for a pencil, so bring your own, or you could use the “pen on a string” which is provided for those registering for day use of the area, a $5 fee.

This is a good spot to park for walking over to enjoy the public beach just to the south. You can also park here and take the connecting trail up to the main Tonsina Point trailhead. Parking for more than 30 minutes will cost $5, but there is no charge to stop by for just a few minutes, use the facilities if necessary, and explore a bit as you look for the micro. It’s likely there will be others in the area, so don’t be obvious in your endeavors.
